FAQs

Do I need to have experience prior to starting training with you?

1

The easy answer is no. We will happily welcome you with a clean slate or experience. We have a range of members who have trained elsewhere prior or as well or have come in knowing nothing. We cater to your needs with each class.

What do I wear?

I am a little worried about starting Jiu Jitsu because I have a hard time with new people. Do I have to start drilling with everyone?

4

You NEVER have to do anything you are uncomfortable with. You are in charge of your journey here. Jiu Jitsu is a sport that allows you a lot of freedom for your comfortability. We understand how intimate and scary it might be to be in these positions and we promise to allow the space to make your own decisions.

Comfortable clothes you can move in. Generally tighter fitting for Jiu Jitsu/Muay Thai and looser for boxing. We will help get you started with a Gi if you are interested in starting Jiu Jitsu. Be prepared for no shoes. We are barefoot or in socks while on the mat.
